Pat Condell Appeasing Islam
Pat Condell is an unapologetic atheist. He was raised Catholic in the suburbs of London England. I don’t subscribe to his anti-religious rants, but his straight talk about the cultural mutation of Europe due to the Islamic indoctrination of some countries is eye opening. For those who believe multiculturalism in America is a good thing, here is a short clip for you to review.

Josh - thanks for the constructive and instructional post. My use of the term ‘multiculturalism’ to advance Condell’s video was too broad in that context, I stand corrected and apologize.
Multiculturalism in its true sense requires mutual respect and benefit. We are a nation of melded cultures and religious beliefs. For the sake of avoiding a distracted conversation, let’s just focus on immigrants (those here legally). On the one hand we offer equal protection for all ethnic and religious differences, on the other hand doing so invites groups like the islamofacists to bastardize the promise of American values and culture.
The founding fathers recognized both the conflict and benevolence of the ‘melting pot’ by instructing national unity on issues of language, borders and culture (assimilation). It is not OK for immigrants who choose to come here to impose preferential language, religion or specific cultural behavior on society. Assimilating doesn’t mean everyone attends a Christian based church. Assimilating doesn’t necessarily mean we all dress the same or eat the same foods. Assimilating does mean, learn our language, obey our laws, respect others values and beliefs and be productive contributing members of society.
We can discuss the illegal alien problem in the context of multiculturalism later. In the meantime say hello to your lovely wife and the 2 munchkins.

What has multi-culturalism got to do with any of this. Are you also against inter-racial marriage and the offspring of that marriage, because that seems like it would only expedite multi-culturalism. My wife is Latina (Her dad is Chilean, her mom is Mexican) our wedding for example was an example of multi-culturalism, we had the bag pipes playing right after the ceremony with a dude in a Scottish Kilt and the Mariachi’s later that evening. Our kids spend quite a bit of time with Grandma who is trying to teach them Spanish. Should I be worried - Listen I get it, Islam is bad, but don’t blame Islam for every culture that is at all different.
